This role is also responsible for completing Rail Safety Workers Medical Assessments, Cat 1, Cat 2, and Cat 3, that are consistent with the National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers. Our expert panel of doctors review the medical assessments for final result determination which is provided by our centralised Contact Centre based in South Australia. The doctors review the medical and any additional medical information as requested, prior to sign-off.
The position is in Newcastle, NSW and is part-time, Thursday and Friday, 15 hours per week, with training on our industry-first Health Monitoring Software and database, which ensures quality of service and visibility to our clients on the status of the medical assessment and determination.
Requirements
- Current General unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner or Registrar
- Experience in occupational health or injury management
- AHP Rail Training (essential)
