The Opportunity
Working closely with our expert, multidisciplinary medical team, you will be involved in the clinical assessment, diagnosis and formulation of treatment plans for individuals with a host of MSK Injuries with the goal of achieving a return to work and maximising function. The role entails the provision of exercise-based rehabilitation programs utilising state of the art technology, overseen by our team of allied health professionals in combination with expert mental health care. The role offers an opportunity to work from home (telehealth consultations) or in a clinical setting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Medical degree with registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
- A Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians
- 1-2 years’ clinical experience is desirable, but all AFOEM trainees are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary and collaborative team including other Medical Specialists, Physiotherapists /Exercise Physiologists and Psychologists.

DUTIES

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years’ similar experience within the medical industry, preferably within General Practice, Travel medicine or Occupational Health environment. Experience in leading teams, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Experience using Medical Software is highly desirable, however is not essential as training will be provided.
Further skills and attributes required for the role:
- Ability to engage, motivate and manage staff to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills

Full time Variable hours Occupational Medical Advisors (Corporate Health Management)
Corporate Health Management are looking for doctors to undertake occupational health assessments for emergency response workers. The role will commence in May/June 2022 and run through to November 2022. This role provides an excellent opportunity to travel Victoria, with medical sites in 20 locations across the state.
Job Description:
- Conducting medical assessments against specific health standards, for emergency response workers.
- Communicating the outcome of the assessment to emergency response workers and employer.
- Trips to regional locations ranging from one to five days – travel, meals and accommodation included.
- Training in medical standards provided.
- Ongoing medical and administrative support.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Medical Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- Roadworthy personal transport.
- Professional, engaging, and open to feedback.
- Occupational Physician Trainee experience desirable, but not essential.
- Availability to work a minimum of two consecutive days per week.
