AHP Medical Practitioners / Occupational Physicians (Jobfit, South East Queensland)

As our rail health services continue to grow across Queensland, we are seeking experienced Rail Authorised Health Professionals (AHPs) and Occupational Physicians to join our expanding team across South East Queensland and selected regional locations.

About the role
Location: Opportunities available across South East Queensland and selected regional Queensland locations
Engagement Type: Contractor engagement preferable (days / hours flexible)
Depending on your experience, interests and accreditations, your work may include:
- Rail safety worker health assessments, including Category 1 and Category 2 medical assessments
- Pre-employment and periodic medical assessments
- Fitness for work assessments
- Injury management and return-to-work support
- Other industry-specific and regulatory medical assessments
- Workplace health advice and risk management support
- Onsite and project-based occupational health services
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams

Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration with no conditions, undertakings or restrictions
- Current Rail Authorised Health Professional (AHP) certification
- Experience in occupational health, workplace health or fitness for duty assessments
- Additional industry specific accreditations are highly regarded but not essential, including:
- RSHQ EMO and/or AMA accreditation
- NSW Order 45 accreditation
- OEUK accreditation
- DAME accreditation
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical team
