The SA/NT Branch recently held their webinar on Using Virtual Reality to enhance pain education outcomes presented by Ben Sheat.
The webinar provided a brief overview of the evidence for pain education, with an emphasis on VR being a delivery tool for the current best practice. It also included a demonstration of the VR experience and client responses, as well as a discussion on the practical application.

About the presenter - Ben Sheat
A Physiotherapist by background, Ben also has a Master of Management (Personal Injury) and extensive history working in the workers' compensation industry in Australia with leadership roles in major Australian insurers, TPAs and corporates.
Focused on getting great health results for businesses, Ben has a track record of working with partners across the health and medical technology sectors to achieve these. Ben was also in the peloton of the 2020 and 2023 Pain Revolution rural outreach tour, supporting Local Pain Educators in getting the key concepts of modern pain science into the communities that need them.
