Part-time Medical Practitioner (Resile, Hamilton, Brisbane)
Resile have an exciting opportunity available for a Medical Practitioner with a special interest in occupational and environmental medicine to join our Hamilton clinic on a permanent part-time basis with the potential to increase to full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm).
Responsibilities
- Carrying out high quality health assessments, medical examinations, and other functions under the QLD Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme
- Conduct a diverse range of health assessments including pre-employment, rail and silica medicals
- Telehealth assessments for acute injury management and treatment
- Fitness for duty and return to work assessments
- The opportunity for on demand visits to local mine sites and clients to conduct risk assessments, offer on-site skin checks and vaccinations, perform health assessments, and deliver clinical presentations or workshops

As the newest team member, you will have:
- Bachelor or Doctor of Medicine/Surgery
- Current and unrestricted registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Current medical indemnity insurance
- Have or be willing to obtain Examining Medical Officer provider approval with Resources Safety & Health QLD (RSHQ)
- Have or be willing to obtain Authorised Health Professional certification to conduct rail medicals
- A caring and quality driven commitment to providing occupational health services
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary and collaborative team
Desirable Criteria (not essential)
- Post-graduate qualifications in occupational health
- CS Health approval to carry out Order 43 medicals
- Medical Review Officer certification
- Ability to conduct OEUK
- DAME registration to conduct aviation medicals
