About the role

Engagement Type: Contractor engagement preferable (days / hours flexible)
Jobfit offers Occupational and Environmental Medicine trainees the opportunity to build broad, practical experience across a diverse national client base. Working alongside experienced occupational health physicians and clinical leaders, you will gain exposure to a wide range of occupational medicine services, industries and workplace health considerations. Your work may include:
- Pre-employment and periodic medical assessments
- Fitness for work assessments
- Injury management and return-to-work support
- Industry-specific and regulatory medical assessments
- Workplace health advice and risk management support
- Onsite and project-based occupational health services
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams

Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration with no conditions, undertakings or restrictions
- Currently undertaking, accepted into, or actively pursuing Occupational and Environmental Medicine training
- Industry specific accreditations are highly regarded but not essential, including:
- Rail Authorised Health Professional (AHP) accreditation
- RSHQ EMO and/or AMA accreditation
- NSW Order 45 accreditation
- OEUK accreditation
- DAME accreditation
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical team
