Sponsored by MLCOA, this year's Conference Dinner will be be transformed to align with the our new normal.
In this most unusual of years, it is great to be able to get together, virtually in metro Melbourne and physically in some States (see details below), at a time when many of us would have been travelling to Launceston to enjoy the sites, sounds and tastes of Tasmania.
All delegates will be treated to a special presentation by our dinner speaker, Associate Professor Terry Hannan, author of "Bedside Stories".
Virtual dinner - Saturday 21 November
While those in other states will be gathering face to face, our Melbourne metropolitan members can look forward to a fantastic home-delivered feast from Antoinetta's Kitchen and the opportunity to link in with colleagues, as well as tune in to our dinner speaker. Please join us - members, non-members and guests for a unique ANZSOM ASM Conference Dinner!
Time: no set time, presentation recording will be available to view at your leisure. (link available shortly)
Grazing Dinner Boxes will be delivered during the day on Saturday
(Sorry - Delivery is in the Melbourne Metro area only)
Venue: Your home (or gather with colleagues according to Victorian rules) with homemade Grazing Dinner Boxes by Antonietta's Kitchen, delivered to your door on Saturday. Each generous grazing box contains 3 courses for 1-2 people
Consultant Physician, Visiting Fellow, Australian Institute of Health Innovation (AIHI), Macquarie University, Sydney
We are honoured to welcome Associate Professor Terry Hannan as our dinner speaker at our virtual conference dinner on Saturday 21 November. Speaking on his career as a general physician and the importance of listening to our patients, Terry will draw on his highly regarded book, ‘Bedside Stories - Learning to listen’.
Following on from an impactful engagement at the Tamar Valley Writer’s Festival 2018, where his session was considered the best received and most attended, Professor Hannan has taken time from the publication of his second book to present and honour us with his collected wisdom.
