Post-Conference Course: Authorised Health Professional Training - National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers
The Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine (ANZSOM) is proud to be hosting a full day training course to equip health professionals to conduct health assessments for rail safety workers as a satellite event associated with the 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting in Brisbane
The National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers provides guidance for rail transport operators to meet their legislative obligations in managing the risks posed by the ill-health of rail safety workers. That guidance includes the selection and management of the health professionals who carry out health assessments on behalf of those operators; referred to as Authorised Health Professionals (AHPs).
Facilitated by the CHO of Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink, Dr Armand Casolin, the course includes face-to-face training followed by a site visit. Participants are then required to successfully complete an online assessment in order to meet the requirements for AHP.
Registration to this event is: $550 including GST
Once you have registered and paid, you will be sent a form to confirm your details along with a copy of your CV.
