ANZSOM members make up a multidisciplinary group of health professionals, including medical and nursing practitioners, who work in industry or manage patients with work-related illness or health problems which have an impact on their ability to work. ANZSOM provides opportunity for networking and the exchange of information and ideas on work-related health matters.
Membership categories:
Ordinary membership – Ordinary membership is open to persons engaged in or interested in occupational medicine and with a qualification entitling them to be registered as a medical or nursing practitioner.
Associate membership – Associate membership is open to other health professionals / persons engaged in or interested in occupational medicine.
Corporate Group Membership
Corporate Group Membership is available to organisations with at least 5 employees wishing to become ANZSOM members (including current members). The Corporate Group Membership Package enables discounts for group membership to ANZSOM, thus providing a valuable avenue to professional development and interaction, and a valuable employee benefit. Annual subscription fees help to support the education and communication activities of the Society. The current annual subscription rate is $290.00 (inc GST) and is for the period 1st April 2012 to 31st March 2013. For those joining after 1st October, pro-rata rates are available. Please contact the Secretariat for more information.
To apply for membership, please download the application form below and complete all the fields including the name of your proposer and seconder – please ensure they have provided their signature. Submit your application (including payment), along with a copy of your Curriculum Vitae to the ANZSOM Secretariat. Membership applications are forwarded to the relevant State branch for consideration / approval.
Once your application has been approved, the Secretariat will send you a letter of approval and a membership payment receipt.
